Cancer survivors' stories often deliver strong motivational messages and generate positive feelings and visualization that is beneficial to cancer patients.

Therefore we hope that you would share with us your stories and poems relating to your own personal experiences which you believe will touch others.

We will compile all stories and poems into an electronic book and download it onto this web site for free reading. The title of this book shall be "Facing Cancer Challenge". We reserve the right to publish it. The success of this book is dependent on your contributions.

With the consent of Mr Kelvin Loh, Mdm Joanna Chan and Mdm Florence Heng, their stories were published in an external publication, "Little Gems From Everyday Singaporeans", a book of insights and inspirations. This booklet was launched on 8 November 2003 and all proceeds from the sale of this book went towards the Children's Cancer Foundation. The three story contributors each received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Children's Cancer Foundation.

Having received enquiries from some web surfers expressing interest in reading "Little Gems From Everyday Singaporeans", we donated 23 copies of this book to the National Library Board (in January 2004) so that local web surfers can borrow it from their nearest library branches.
